Engine wont start - battery OK. I have a 2010 Ceed 1.6 diesel which had a clutch and crank shaft sensor replaced 3 weeks ago. Since then i have seen a deterioration in the starting behavior - i.e. long cranks before start up and then clicking noises. Thinking it was the battery I took it out and had it charged.
Hi, Recently, my Cee'd diesel has been a bit difficult to start in the morning, ranging from starting first time but with a few seconds of chugging (with some whitish smoke) before starting to run smoother when a light touch to the accelerator is applied, to failing to start before the 5th or 6th time of trying (followed by the chugging).
